Death is quite hard at start, but once you find the Necronomicon you become unstoppable.

Chaos is very good for offense but you must rely on items for detection and defence.

Nature is an excellent support realm, but its offensive potential is quite low; it's not an easy game but you can win.

And if you really want to play a difficult game, try a High Mage of Sorcery or Trump. I'm sure it's possible to win with them, and I've tried a few times, but with no success.
