The rings of power are look kind of odd. They appear like: a Silver ring [18] as if they are armour as opposed to rings of protection (or Elessar). It is very nice. but without any speed or stat bonuses, I may have to lose it later (could have done with rConf, rNether or rChaos on it). I also found a cursed ring of power. It had ImmElec and -2 to Int and a few reistances. I think it may have had something else bad though - possibly aggro.

I think Feanor should be +15 to speed like in V, else it really isn't that special compared to its rarity.

The first part of the proofing behaviour is correct, but it should check the proofed status before stacking.

The point with growth was that it enables you to cast nature's vengeance anywhere. NV is meant to encourage druids to spend time in areas with lots of trees and grass (like Nan Dungortheb...); it's also meant to be handy in dungeons at a high level, but I made growth high level & mana so it's only a late game strategy and it requires some setup.

Also I am pleased to be able to test out my beguiling theory - it has been great slowing the high level uniques (which is another factor as to why they aren't so dangerous!).

Ancalogon was tough as he kept summoning, but with my speed advantage after he was slowed I was able to keep teleporting his friends away and keep hacking at him.

If the damage output of NV is as you posted before (6d6 + CL/3) + a possible 25% then I'm not sure it is worth it as that is nothing compared to the other spells I have (and they do not compare to melee with Ringil). I'd prefer to see it the other way around: have a lower level growth spell that concentrates the growth near the caster a little more (a useful LoS blocker) and then a high level, higher damage NV spell.

That must be my scummiest win of all time. Firstly the Ent scumming the forests and then druids have very cheap Stone to Mud and Teleport away - perfect for GCVs.

I wasted a speciality with powerstrike - I never realised before this how powerful at melee a full caster could become. Beguile was fantastic - I even managed to slow Morgoth!

You could, however, reduce the melee ability of *all* full casters or increase the mana cost of glyphs - so continually recasting them is not an option.

Other druid suggestions:
1. Make the monster also save for stunning on a powerstrike.
2. A lot of the damage dealing offensive spells have a very high variance, something more consistent would help. I tended to stick to thunderclap (purely for the stunning effect).
