Just do it a few times and ull get a killing blow, Sim and I were lucky enough just to need to kill him twice, we just kept doing damage and got one each... if I stopped shooting his regen was more than sim's damage... so we just had to hope for luck.

Once you both have the kill you can use his level as a staging ground for -1500ft farming, very handy.
