I think I wouldn't choose Trap Setting again next time. It's nice but warriors don't really need it, and most of the monsters seem to avoid my traps anyway.

I'm running around with Anduril which is great for Balor / Balrog fighting, but I'm still looking out for Ringil. I'm still swapping an RoS +8 for Barahir for poison resist.

Also found a mace of disruption holy avenger (+4). Would've been great for my paladin!

Still saving *healing* and life potions for the big battles. I still run away from GWoPs, and haven't seen Storms of Unmagic yet. The character should be able to handle them, but I haven't really tried. I think I've got most of the uniques, at least the dangerous ones (Cantoras, Vecna, Tarrasque, Carcharoth etc.). Funnily enough, I ran into Orfax at 4500' (I let him live).

Greater vault depleted all my healing potions, so I had to stick around a bit before taking on Sauron and Morgoth. I spent about a million gold buying out the black market, but the healing potions just don't want to show up. I don't think I'll have much problem with Sauron, and I've saved up plenty of *healing* and genocide scrolls for the final battle. Still haven't found Ringil, but Calris is at home. I think Anduril will be just fine though - can't find enchant weapon (skill) scrolls.

I'm missing shards and poison resist now, but I suppose I should be alright. Shards hasn't been too scary, and poison can be combatted with Barahir, provided I think of it.

I'm really enjoying the Easy Activating items, they make my life a whole lot easier (which makes for a faster game). It's easily my favorite change from 0.7.0.

You have more than enough speed so you shouldn't wait for something rare like Ringil once you have enough potions for you to feel save. Switching poison in and out is a dangerous thing to do!

Morgoth didn't summon anything this time, instead trying to outbash me. His kungfu was weak!

I loved the changes from the last version, especially the improved dice on various weapons. I ran the first few levels with a katana instead of a longsword - gives warriors something to spend money on.

My next Dunadan warrior will probably go Armsman -> Shield Mastery -> Fast Attacking -> Fury.
