Dlvl 38 quest gave nothing interesting. On the same level was the #&%* Bat, and I farmed him a little, ot a couple Resist Rings and Holleneth to show for it (not that great).

Swapped back to Castle, and Greater Were-Quylthug Hell-Mushroom dropped Amber, nice! At 200 damage/rnd and +10 base speed, with something like 8 !oHealing and 9 !oResistance, plus a large number of Speed charges/potions, I went for Cloning Pits. Nothing too bad... I think the stunning helped with Summon control a lot. Got Anarion with RPois (good), Faramir (eh, not great but beats Amulet of INT (+3) that I was wearing), and Hammerhand (completely useless).

Found another ?oAcq somewhere, and went to Ry-leh to read it. Got Soulkeeper... ARGH!!

The big thing to notice is that they get AC ups per level, and get FA at Clvl 25. Farm worms a little at the beginning if you must, but once you hit Clvl 10 or so (i.e. completion of Warg quest), it should be really smooth sailing...

Could you tell me what usually kills you? Oh, one thing. I almost never kill Boldor. He's way too tough with his "Summon Kamikaze Yeeks" in the early game, and in late game consideration, it's actually beneficial to keep hiim alive (i.e. so Serpent can draw him as his Unique Summon ^^)

That's at least twice in recent memory that Old Castle has come through with a great Speed item (the other being Brand, forget which character). Elliot may like his Mimic quest, but for me, my three favorite quests are no doubt Old Castle, Orc Camp, and Killing Fields.

Dlvl 50 quest gave Cloak of Jack.. but with my massive Stealth penalties for being Mighty and Dwarf, I decided I wasn't goint the stealth route, and that I'd rather have +4 DEX and Speed over 7 Stealth and ESP.
