Well, it's off to another decent start. The idea for this build is that Sorcery gives access to Recharge, so while Rogue can't heal and shoot rockets and such, they can do it if they find enough magic devices... it's kind of like the D&D type rogue that specializes in opportunistic magic.

Post-Killing Fields dump. Gained a good 6 clvls off it. Usually I go in whenever I find my first Rod of Teleport Other, and in this case the BM was stocking 3. 8000xp until I get Haste!

I swapped into early Killing Fields fights as soon as I realized that. Actually, I wasn't quite accurate earlier... 2 Wands of Teleport Other will also do, since ?oRecharging are pretty common.

Of course, this tends to make your equipment a bit of a drag for your level, but you can train yourself to be a bit more conservative.

My alternative strategy for the mid-levels is if I find the &#%*( Bat in the Castle early, in which case I'll just happily farm the summoned dragons for XP, gold, and items. He doesn't appear all that often though.
