Nature High-Mage!? Why, oh why? Well, first two considerations are eventual 0% Fail Herbal Healing and 0% Fail Wall of Stone.

Plus, Nature also gets Resistance True and Stone Skin. The major sore points of this build are lack of Teleport, lack of Haste, and lack of damage output (Lightning Storm is probably the best damage ratio spell).

I scummed Beastman start until I got a Chaos patron, shamelessly copying off Elliot. The first patron I got, however, was Mabelode, who doesn't do Augmentations. So I had to recreate until I got another one. I got Narjhan after a few tries, which is fine, except he turned me into Dunadan pretty early, which means I get a lot fewer mutations than I was expecting to. Only got Swap Position as useful mutation (was hoping for +4 STR or DEX..)

Still, Narjhan has been pretty nice so far (presenting me with Thingol, in fact), excepting for a Wrath during the Sewer which made me abandon it.

Good choice getting ride of Mabelode. He/she/it is the worst one (though Balor can make your life unpleasant), with no augmentation or great items. If I get Mabelode, I re-roll and try for another, and Mabelode is the only one I do that with.

I think you're pretty bold going for it with Nature Magic. Nature certainly has great supporting spells, but the crappy offensive spells will be a problem. On the other hand, its hard to think of a mage school which DOES provide enough offense. Even Chaos struggles to get the job done, so perhaps Nature is the way to go.
