I was also being exceedingly careful not to
lose any wanted corpses (always somehow
lose track of one or another), and in a
massive battle against Fiona (wanted) and
the Yumi-no-whatever (also wanted), Fiona's
corpse managed to completely disappear.
Never saw what destroyed it, but despite my
care it was still gone (grumble). Haven't
bothered with the Arena yet, since I know
I can't beat a Shambler off my current kit
and the Arena's activation restrictions.

Wasn't someone else playing a bard recently?
Not sure what happened to that guy... level
38 or so at last dump, I think.

More updates with significant (eq) progress.

best guys. I was pretty
disappointed never to find
the 4th book though. I
don't think it had anything in
it that would have helped me
attack sound resistant monsters
any better, but maybe the
boost from its major healing
song might have helped me beat
my couple trouble fights.

Songmaster is up to clevel 42 or so, and just found what could be a game-making find. Down at 3600' or so, one of the mid-range Chthulu uniques dropped a RoS +15! Had to drop that neat Ring of Damage+Dragon Frost ring, but its well worth while.

He got Azriel as his random monster at 3800' and I don't think he's even going to try. There's no shortage of uniques down there, and Azriel has an awfully good shot at killing Songmaster.
