Decided to take a break from Samurais and Weaponsmiths so decided to play a Vampire Knight ( nee Cavalry - I know but knight sounds cooler).

Ran into some problems with food on whilst looking for Brodda then decided to see if I could feed from my horse and lo and behold it works so it seems that a Vampire Cavalry character might work out ok as the intrinsic resists should come in handy since I won't be using a shield or dual wielding.... Early post I know - but hey I felt like it...

And finding Brodda can't be that difficult can it? I mean you have door/stair location so you can search the whole level? Unless the "ALWAYS" small level setting could cause disconnected dungeon parts more often (seen it a few times on large levels, too).

Yep I failed the quest for Brodda... Horse died as it got progressively weaker after each feeding and never found the snivelling coward....

I've upgraded to a 2 headed Hydra (Harry) and it's a bit more robust between feedings (it can go back to full health as opposed to the horse).

Haven't found any decent equipment yet but hopefully that will change.

Will update post hopefully once he's up @ chlvl 35.

Elliott's efforts with Minstrel and Songmaster have inspired me to try a bard - "Jazz". I think he'll be an Archon so he can use his Angelic voice to good effect. Will start him tonight.
