My first monk ever found Blue Dragon Scale Mail lying on the floor on level 8 of Barrow Downs. He also found Angrist in the remains of some orc unique. Bah. :)

My plan for this character is to max barehand and dodge, and balance the rest of the skill points to archery and spirituality (to ameliorate horrible saving throw).

Did the first god quest. Tulkas mighty pleased with me until I hit a trap of steal item and lost my (very nice) rod of trap detection. I then stumbled across several anger-thy-god-traps, and was thrown down to -15 000 piety. Bah.

Still, interesting class.
