What to say about this character... Crit hits with a nice mimic char should be a very promising Netherrealm character, but there are lots of skills needed to max its power. Well, wanting to give it a shot, I did. My intention was to level this char to at least level 69 in Angband, but when reaching 50, I realised I should go to at least level 75 to stand a chance in the Netherrealms like Simic I did. Though Simic I wasn't really that strong, somehow it wasn't scary at all to run around in NR's arena levels. With this char, getting off stairs generally appeared to be dangerous. Partying was needed, but because monsters in NR are really tough, we all wanted to level as much as possible in Angband first because monsters die faster, providing more exp in the same time. Eventually, we did enter NR a few times, but not for long. Siempre and Dumdum killed a Nether Guard. Siempre and Simic once tried one too, but failed. (Simic ran out of *healing*s)

This char was quite strong, but couldn't survive on his own very well. One might say a mimirogue is a teamplayer before kinging, though dumdum partied only with really really strong guys all the time. With the adjusted exp penalty formula, it's not possible at this time to 'fully prepare' for -50 ft NR. Too bad I had to find out after getting way past level 60.

The death was quite nasty. Though the logs appear to contain a fight, I seem to have suffered a lot of lag here. Of course, lag kils lots of people and people often blaim lag, me too, but this time I never had a chance to heal/teleport. The ghost was standing somehwhere in the open, so I tried to move into walls, but it still was laggy; the client hardly responded at all. Then a dread seemed to have ghostkilled Dumdum in several rounds, though i never saw a thing about it.

It seems my ping increased from 22ms to about 400. Darkie pinged me and got a 780 ms reply too, guess something is wrong here and i should have known/noticed in time. Bad luck for me.

Something weird happened too. I think it was the day before today (death) that my eq got some weird boni. It's not just silly inscriptions, it's a bug. It's been reported too. Let's hope it gets fixed.
