Some other encounters I remember:
1) Wandering around on D:31 without any means of monster detection. Danger level 4-?, vaultless. Out of the clear blue sky, Kavlax right next to me. Luckily I didn't die there.

2) Used TO on Feagwath on some 50/60 lvl vault. Was pretty exhausted there from just running away from shit. So Kavlax incident wasn't the only time I was on one-shot-range but this one was intentional.

A little question for top players if they happen to read this:
You tend to waste Potion of Speed or two just to get TO in OOD monster safer? Feagwath was obviously pretty extreme example because I had just low enough HP not to withstand manastorm. But in general, you do it too right?

This character would've been an absolute monster with a better weapon. Having SoS of HA (+11 dma) as Morgybane felt a little underwhelming as I had an amazing +2 attack speed artifact ring.

Does that ring work with launchers? Definitely would've been a viable tactic since I found one pretty good Lothlorien bow and Buckland sling. If it works with launchers, I'd had 4x buckland with +4 shots and somewhere around +20 dmg).

One little confirmation bias: One of the Skull Drujs spell is not Create Traps. Its Create Trap Doors. ALWAYS!
