I think the next quest will be easier than it looks, because I just got Til-i-arc (fire branded) and 6-headed hydras are vulnerable to fire.
After that I'll start doing some stat-gain and taking difficult quests.

I had to do a lot of town scumming lately because the shops never had any WoR and ID-scrolls. That was very annoying but I hope I get a useful fail rate for my ID-spell soon. Finding Mordenkainen's wouldn't hurt either.

If you are wondering why my CHR is 0 - I've been drinking many potions of toughness which raise CON at the cost of CHR. Very useful since potions of CHR are more common and much cheaper than potions of CON.

Wow, that must have been the most annoying quest ever. They have huge HPs, do a lot of damage and when they are low on health they simply teleport away.

At least I got my first artifact reward: The cloak of Thor!

I still need a better weapon, but now that I have access to the "Absorb Hit" spell, I'm almost invincible at these depths.

It was a superb feeling level (3 lesser vaults) and I found quite a few artifacts and 3 uniques (Atlas, Glaurung and Colossus) there.

The reward was Tenser's, and because I gained about 4 levels during the quest I was able to learn all the remaining spells, including globe of resilence.
