This was my first time to get even this far in vanilla (or any variant excluding the lame easyband).

I was faced with a group of Ogres including a unique one, I think it was called Lukkuk. Zapped my Rod of Recall, and tried to phase door out of harm's way. A couple of small phasing in the ogre-room I was teleported in the middle of energy hounds. Well, the end of the line.
