Played an ancient version of Z for old times' sake (and because I never really thought the switch to O-style combat in 2.3 worked well). Vanilla town, 49 quests.

The quests were fun for a while but they became tedious later on, and most dangerous stuff at the end was dealt with by hockey stick abuse (the mindcrafter spells are pretty much perfect for this). The fight against the Serpent took just 3 Potions of Restore Mana and no other consumables, with the Serpent not getting a chance to do any attacks.

Ringil was dropped by the Serpent.
