Alternately, if it's 3 use you could go straight to artifice and start making some smithing equipment (a war hammer of weaponmastery, for example.) Might be too early for that. I probably would not have taken loremaster as a smith, you probably could have made a loremaster helm for cheaper :)

Another thing you could do is take jeweller, make an amulet of haunted dreams and then dismantle that mithril helm for a feanorian lamp, which are MEGA USEFUL. Even +0 amulet of blessed realm is helpful for the light radius.
