I am not exactly sure when a character is strong enough to survive it to stat-gain. I haven't played in to long this this all seems new to me. I know regular dragons are native to that depth.

Because the food is inserted directly in the inventory, the total inventory is moved around and something else is probably being destroyed instead of the scroll.
