Why Imitator? Meh, it's a class I never won with, and any class works about equally well for this strategy, and I can switch to GWoP if I want to try using distance attacks.

For the last, the target can get up to 60% damage reduction for AC 150 for certain attacks (Hurt and Superhurt) so if you ever thought powerful melee pets were not performing as well as they should, you are correct.

But the Death Scythes attacks are experience drainers so there is no AC based damage reduction. Rather, the attacks count as nether which the serpent resists (dam = dam * 3 / (6 + 1d6)).

Also, I had a question about Pet upkeep mana. On a Debug Aphrodite Beastmaster character, I was actually able to Kiss the Unicorn of Order and turn it into a pet! But alas, it was SP draining and I couldn't keep it (or ride it, for some reason, even though I set riding skill to 8000). For the Unicorn of Order in particular, I think that's fine, but I'm curious because I'm able to lead 2 GWoPower without SP drain.

Oh, an Aphrodite Cavalry can actually tame and ride Bahamut, Godzilla, Tarrasque, and the Unicorn of Order! (Since Cavalry half upkeep for Uniques). No auras on Bahamut, Godzilla, or Tarrasque either. I think I know what I'm playing next!
