Try adding 2 points on Smithing. Get Weaponsmithing. Forge arrows (24 at a time) at any forge in sight. :)

Sadly I have no sharpness weapon... I might have to scum around for a bit.... The Archery seems to be working very well. Honestly I don't know why I didn't do this sooner!

Careful Shot is supposed to be there as a pressure valve in case people have problems with not enough ammo.

Anyhow, great going -- looking at your skill allocation I think it's fair to say you're the most successful generalist yet. I suppose you might push that further still if you go for Song of Sharpness (good with archery too, but perhaps not with stealth).

Fendell, it turns out that my most recent character had the same first four equipment items as your one -- I at first thought there had been some kind of error when I read your equipment list.

Hmm, maybe I should invest in careful shot? BUt I love the extra damage from flaming arrows : ) However even regular arrows can cripple : )

I might have to get song of sharpness to release a Sil. Like I said I'm gonna have to scum around a bit. If I'd being going for a straight up ninja...I'd have gone down the stairs already. As it is my hand to hand is a bit lacking.

Still looking for a sharpness weapon...I really don't want to have to buy song of sharpness.

Any more forges at 950ft? If there is one, I would try to get Enchantment to make a Weapon of Sharpness.

If you do get the Song of Sharpness, that's okay too. But, if you use it, it will give you a Stealth penalty and wake up enemies. Be careful.

Just to give a heads up, it IS possible to get a Sil out without a source of Sharpness. It might take more tries, though.

One time, I got the first Sil out with Delmereth's Deathsword on my 2nd/3rd try, with Finesse and Sublety. After that, I proceeded to win for the first time, with my Fingolfin character, Azog's Bane.

Thanks again Hugo! I should have thought of this myself : )

I was robbed! I never even knocked Morgoth's crown off! It was an epic battle too! All around the level...what ultimately killed me is that I was gorged and couldn't heal. I still managed to escape from morgoth...but for whatever reason a troll spotted me and I was too weak to fight him and Gothmog off at the same time...still if I had a bit of luck I might have escaped and gotten another point in melee : (

But this style of play works...I don't understand why I never got Morgoth's crown off though..since I was buffed....

Being gorged is really bad in the Throne Room. :(
