I shop scum and find the Splint mail of resistance with RPois and RChaos for 160k, and sell all my books and almost all my artifacts to buy it. I then figured I had all the resists I needed for Cloning Pits, and went ahead and did it.

And WOW! Best take ever: Shiva's Jacket, Sling of Buckland, Faramir, and a bunch of randarts. Shiva's Jacket!!!

Nothing of note in the Old Castle, though Sacred Knights does finally allow me to put on Shiva's Jacket.

Brand off Saruman! And with RPois no less! That allowed me to jettison Frakir in favor of my Ring of Reinforce Muscle (+4). Surprisingly, Levitation is an issue right now.

I went for One with Magic for my clvl 40 ability. I like my healing abilities, so resisting Antimagic is good, and I don't have Resistance as a spell, so resisting Dispel Magic for !oResistance is good.
