Poor Villan. He was happily moving downward without much success in finding useful items. As a matter of fact he was still, at CL16, wielding his starting broad axe.

Finding nothing of use on level 13, he dropped through a conveniently placed trap door into level 14, a nature themed level. He dropped into a room full of uruks and rothe and sprites and even the Boar of Everholt.

He was blinded, he was confused, he had a hard time using his useful staffs. Eventually he got his staff of sleep monsters to fire twice in a row, but the sprite and one of the uruks seemed to be immune.

Still confused he was unable to move for fear of waking his slept captors. He couldn't read because he was confused. He kept trying to slow monsters and sleep monsters until the sprite and the uruk eventually widdled him down to death.

He was running out of torch light anyhow, I had to double check my squelch settings just to make sure I hadn't squelched all light sources.
