I just wanted to thank you for your excellent posts about Sil on your blog. It is great to hear from people who really click with it. Scatha and I did indeed put a lot of time into the things you observed and trying to get everything to work just right.
You are also spot on about the Grotesques being like Weeping Angels -- they were indeed based on the Angels! Also, there is a main entrance to that secret passage on the throne room level, but it is very far away to the west. The passage includes a Silent Watcher which would have been fine for you, but caused a lot of trouble for my recent melee character. You have probably already seen it, but I linked to your blog posts on the forums here:
