There is one feature in a Plumber Carr’s Landing residents, being pragmatists, would never overlook. That feature is ‘technical competence/expertise.’ This is to say that nearly Carr’s Landing occupants are willing to pay more than for plumbing functions if they (really) have to. Many Carr’s Landing occupants are willing to wait a bit, if a plumber of their choice is not usable at the precise moment they demand him and his function. But one thing that nearly Carr’s Landing occupants won’t take in a plumber is technical incompetence: like where a plumber is called to repair a plumbing problem, and it recurs even before he has left the home’s/premises’ gate! Such a plumber would tend to get a lot of bad press (especially where he displays a reluctance to redo the work), really perhaps leading to his having to look for different trade to engage in.
