Next to my (and other peoples') posts. A little green square, and if you mouse over it there's a tooltip that says "$POSTER is on a distinguished road."

What's this about?

It's a vBulletin feature that's activated but not being used - being able to build and lose reputation. I guess there was many years ago a plan to use it that no one bothered to finish

I think it is in use isn't it? I think you can give people rep for posts that you like - it's just that few people bother using it so few people have any rep points.

Yep it works, and you can even see what you've been given rep for and by whom. I can never remember how to get there though.

All reps are worth 0 rep so you stay on default 10 rep forever. Distinguished road is the stock vbullrtin description.
