    Can't play Angband now

    Recently I got an update on my computer to download Service Pack 3.... I went ahead and did it and after a it downloaded it gave me a whooooollllllleee bunch of problems. Anyways, I deleted it and now I can't play Angband... I saved my characters and deleted the game and then reloaded it but still can't play or even open Angband on my PC.....any suggestions...please respond to my email as I go there more often than coming here......COmmotech_98_64_06@yahoo.com thanks

      Huh? I'm running XP SP3 and everything's working just fine.
      If you can convincingly pretend you're crazy, you probably are.

          It's high time for an Ubuntu Live CD with Angband. Does anybody know if the Ubuntu Live CD you can requst for free from https://shipit.ubuntu.com/login has Angband in it? Not that it's a big problem to build a custom Live CD...

              What errors is it giving you? That would be helpful info

                  It sounds to me like he installed then uninstalled SP3, after which he couldn't play. The windows installation itself has probably been corrupted. I'd reinstall over the existing windows installation, and that failing, format and reinstall.
