On-screen recording with XSplit Broadcaster 2.9

Does anyone here have much experience with XSplit Broadcaster 2.9? I've been using 2.9 since last month. It works great. But, there's one problem. My video filesizes have been YUGE lately compared to pre-2.9 versions. I am recording on maximum quality while on the free versions for 2.9 and those before 2.9. My videos made with pre-2.9 versions weren't like this. Has anyone else encountered this issue before? krazyhades?
My best try at PosChengband 7.0.0's nightmare-mode on Angband.live:

If I'm offline I'm probably in the middle of maintaining Gentoo or something-Linux or other.

I stopped using xsplit a while back when they were updating/upgrading their software and breaking everything in the process, and haven't come back since I wasn't ever interested in their paid version. I use OBS (Open Broadcaster Software) now. I'm not sure about the file size issues, but I know mine can be pretty huge. My old single-sitting tournament entry stream/recording (sadly I recently re-realized that the first 12 char levels are missing, but maybe I should still post what I have...) is a whopping 20.3 gb, though to be fair it is over twenty hours long...in general for me though a gig per hour of recording is normalish. What are you getting?

For Ultra High quality 1280x720 resolution + 96kbps mono audio, my videos made in 2.9 take up about 1GB of hard drive space per hour. Krazyhades, what was the last version of XSplit Broadcaster you used routinely?

Unless there is an XSplit-exclusive feature you need to use, consider swapping to Open Broadcasting Studio, which is 100% free and high quality.
