    Searching a Roguelike Group

    Hello everyone,

long time i read this forum and played a lot roguelikes. My wish is to play roguelikes in groups, so the answer is: TomeNET, Mangband, PWAngand

Except from TomeNET the playerbase in minimal and seems not to work with my online times. :-(

I joined this board today, to search for a few people to play multiplayer Roguelikes in a fun group!

Anybody here have interest in forming up a group of 4-5 players?

Or.. is there any other recommandation? At the moment, the only close thing i play is grim dawm but it's a hack'n'slash. Not the same experiance then a roguelike!

Until i get any answers, i play another round of PosChengband 3.5.0

    Have a nice day!

The advantage of multiplayer Angband is that you can simply run the server on your PC and invite your friends to play with you. Easiest way to get a party going.

Coincidentally, I was thinking about giving PWMangband a try. However, I'm very inexperienced concerning online-gaming. We could give it a try next week, if you like.

PWMangband has really weird time slowdown. Its a "feature", but I see it as a bug. Id prefer if it only didnt have that.
TomeNET is too complex imo. For realtime anyway.

Mangband is a lot of fun, even to play solo.

You know you can disable that feature by setting low hitpoint warning (hitpoint_warn option) to 0 do you? I always do that when I play since I don't really like that feature either.

So, PWMangband, anybody? Like I said, I'm very inexperienced concerning online multiplayer games, but if you're patient with me, I'd like to give it a try

luthanos, I'll be online on Saturday at 19h server time, okay?

Oh man! Feels like this feature has been the death of many incarnations of Rydia... Can't wait to give it a try, thanks for the tip.

Well, there's Nethack. It has a number of players in multiplayer mode I understand.
