Okay. This might just be me talking out of nonsense, but do any of you ever get this feeling? I just recently got into the game, and I've already had nights where I'll just play it all night.

I'm not sure if that's normal...

But yes, anyone else have nights like this?

Can't say I ever have, and I played way too much Angband when I was a teenager.

In all seriousness, I would recommend turning off your computer and doing something else in such cases. Escapism in excess is unhealthy. So is lack of sleep.

This is every night, and day, for me.

There's a reason that the only variant I've ever won is one where death is not permanent(though of course it still has severe consequences, and can lead to a permadeath).

personally, I've gone from midnight til 8am on angband. I only quit because I was dying so many times. then went back to it after waking up.
