Very curious - I wonder if he knows about Angband?

Possibly a silly question, but is there a single-player version of Angband (or variants) that's playable online (i.e. as a Java app or similar, without the need to download the program to a local PC)? Would it be theoretically possible to build one, or is the code to complex to adapt to an online app?

There isn't a browser-based one AFAIK, but d_m used to run a server which you could connect to through a browser. Not sure if it's still running ...

Just found this one, it's called age of rogue (Mangband) don't know who's it is as it connects you to a server.
