MUDding

Hey again all,

Can anyone recommend me a decent Sci-Fi MUDs? ...I have little experience with them (used to dabble from time to time on a MUD called 4 lands), but I think it's something I could really get into.

Do or have you played any and which would you suggest?

correct, angband etc is goodfun where as in any mud if tried the most fun ive had is disrupting the server and being banned, not a joke , please no rage!

Speaking of MUDs, I could always use some more testers for mine. The web documentation isn't very good yet, but there's a small beginner's guide and some useful info, as well as links to a web-based client you can use to play.

Also note the BBS there that's quite inactive (at least for those who can't see the super-secret GM boards) since testers are hard to come by.

I haven't gotten around to trying it yet, but when I asked this somewhere else I usually get pointed at "space station 13".

If your more into the fantasy part of sci-fi there is a newer mud based on the Riftwar series.
