    Angband via gamepad

Sorry, I know I have a mouse and keyboard but sometimes I enjoy sitting back and playing a game via my gamepad. I've configured my gamepad to play FAngband, albeit not completely. It would be nice to see Angband and its variants include simple select and press mechanics.

    Maybe I'm just dreaming?

Vanilla has this also, taken from Heng IIRC

Not dreaming. IIRC one of Takkaria's ambitions was/is to make angband playable on more handheld devices, which means more code to support pointing devices, pens, gestures, etc. No reason a gamepad couldn't be supported too, eventually. I guess it will depend, like all such ambitions, on a developer with such a device willing to code and test. Being strictly a keyboard user (who only buys phones with full QWERTY keyboards), I'm no help here.

V has an independent menu implementation--more complicated than Heng, but also more general. (Heng only has menus on arrays of strings.)
