Overburdening bug

I was hefting around a gigantic hammer so I was a bit worried about extra weight. At some point I went over the limit and now whenever I drop an item, it increases my burden, so dropping the hammer took me from around 15 lb over to 70 lb over. This could be problematic for future characters.

Can you post a save game?
Does the first number on the burden line change after dropping an item?

I have not been able to reproduce this with a hobbit mage with no strength increases, the initial equipment and 40 additional pounds of sling shots. Can anyone reproduce this?

Apologies for the alarm, it turned out to be a human error (I didn't notice a speed change in my gear, so when it was less then I remembered I thought it was a burden problem)
