What would happen if I don the stone mask possessing combat echizen?

The description says "It makes you turn into a vampire permanently" which sounds fun if it means Vampire Combat Echizen but awful it if means (plain) Vampire.

I don't think the Stone Mask will trigger any special effect in this case - as a general rule, if you can't be temp-polymorphed you can't be perma-polymorphed either.
