[FrogComPosBand] Slays on gloves for martial arts skillmaster?

    [FrogComPosBand] Slays on gloves for martial arts skillmaster?

    I'm currently playing a martial arts skillmaster who is wearing a glove that has Slay Evil. However when I look at the character sheet the martial arts damage does not show the effect of the Slay Evil. Does the Slay Evil still apply to my hand-to-hand damage?

    For that matter, wearing rings of combat also does not show any change to the to-hit percentages and the damage calculation on character sheet.

    Be sure the ring is on the 'Right' hand, 'e' slot.

      Glove slays (and other off-weapon slays) apply to melee weapons, so they don't help in hand-to-hand combat.
      The Complainer worries about the lack of activity here these days.

            Can we consider this a bug report? It doesn't make logical sense.

            Also with how often "wrong side ring" is an issue, can we have some kind of visual warning? I know about it and I make the mistake ALL the time. To the point where I dont bother equipping +damage rings lol.

              Archery rings seem to work on either hand, not sure about Mage rings.

                Never knew about the ring-of-combat side issue. Does it affect weapons or just hand-to-hand. If Weapons:
                - What if you wield your weapon in your left hand?
                - Or 2H weapons?
                - Or Dual wielding?

                FYI: Also, my current character is Dragon (6 ring slots) and rings of combat appear to work (bonus shows up in 'C' detail) for all 6 slots. And seems to be cumulative (only have 2 currently).

                  Rings of Combat affect the matching hand. So in Dual Wield, slot 'e' is the right hand, and slot 'f' the left hand.

                  IIRC, it was PCB 6.0 when that came in, chris was worried about stacking two rings with Dual. As well, combat bonuses from other slots were to be split between weapons, with odd point going to the main hand. So, (+1,+1) gauntlets while Dual Wielding would be +1,+1 to the right, and +0,+0 to the left, and (+1,+3) would be +1,+2 to the right, and +0,+1 to the left.

                  Not sure if that was where the wielding a weapon with two hands bonus came in.

                  I don't have a Dual Wielding char right now with rings to test.
