I've added the Thunderlords from ToME in a previous version, but looking at the monster file again, I think they are clearly appearing too soon...

When I compare Thunderlords and ancient dragons, I think they should be similar in power: green Thunderlord vs ancient red dragon, blue Thunderlord vs AMHD, brown vs dracolich, bronze vs great hell wyrm, gold vs GWoC. So instead of 30/40/50/60/70, it should probably be 40/45/50/60/70. I'll change that for the next build.

New PWMAngband 1.1.12 build 4 released!

Some minor improvements and more bugfixes. List of changes:

- Fix a compilation warning
- PDF and HTML manuals are back
- Fix rooms of chambers
- Make accounts case insensitive
- Add missing FORCE_DEPTH flag to spirits and blood lurchers
- Prevent randart ammo from having non-weapon abilities
- Choose a brand randomly when poison, stunning and cutting are available
- Move green and blue Thunderlords deeper
- Repeat digging 99 times
- Update the Home when discovering a new rune
- Improve XBM order parsing by allowing orders based on two criteria (for example: "potion|speed")
- Display price info when describing an item in a shop

Great... selling unidentified weapons with slays and brands actually give more money than the actual price instead of less because the power factor of slays/brands is miscalculated (unid weapons are treated the same as slay evil weapons). Ding ding ding... time for another bugfix version.

New PWMAngband 1.1.12 build 5 released!

List of changes:

- Add a hidden resting option ('x' on the command line) to rest without being interrupted by hp damage
- Make birth_no_artifacts actually prevent generating and using ANY artifact
- Fix unidentified weapons with slays or brands being sold for more than their real value
- Fix object rating being based on known value instead of real value of objects generated on the level

New PWMAngband 1.1.12 build 6 released!

Small update. Here's the list of changes:

- Add SEDUCE attack to incubi and succubi
- Fix ego Witan Boots losing their penalty to stealth
- Force update when entering a store to avoid bogus "you have nothing that I want" or "you cannot carry that many items" messages when trying to buy/sell items

The SEDUCE attack simply makes male characters remove their armor when touched by a succubus and same goes for female characters with an incubus.

Still got the latest improvements/bugfixes from V4.1.x to add...

And since I'm currently playing a Telepath, the Psychic Drain spell that is supposed to replenish your mana from the pain of your enemies just gives a couple mana points, which is stupid. I'll rework the formula...

New PWMAngband 1.1.12 build 7 released!

Latest update with all recent changes and fixed. Here's the list of changes:

- Give rogue enemies a chance to drop phase door scrolls
- Double stack size of phase door scrolls
- Move resist heat, cold, and poison to be later in the dungeon
- Increase duration of resist cold, heat, and poison potions
- Increase duration of true seeing potion
- Greatly reduce trap frequency
- Halve greater vault frequency
- Add summon.txt
- Show speed multipliers in lore
- Move the 'x' after the number in speed display
- Show hit chance for each attack in monster lore
- Adjust some interesting rooms to avoid disconnected levels
- Report of monsters are slowed or hasted when looking at them
- Improve player health description with more status ailments
- Increase size of windows floor dot
- New tile for passable rubble
- Show total expected monster damage in lore
- Make fizzix's fixes to generation
- Implement project_player_handler_PSI_DRAIN()
- Increase amount of mana gained by Psychic Drain
- FREETYPE upgraded to version 2.9.1
- PYTHON upgraded to 32-bit version 2.7.15

V has been updated with the magic rework, this means after my yearly 3-week summer beak I'll start to work on 1.1.13 by porting some of that stuff. This will probably require a lot of work, since I already have some of the classes with different spells and abilities... I'll have to think carefully of what goes in and what will stay out.

That server runs an obsolete version which isn't maintained anymore. And when I start to work on 1.1.13 the 1.1.11 binary will also disappear. If you want to play, I encourage to run your own server with the latest 1.1.12 build (which also contains all the latest additions).

PWMangband is meant to be run under Windows, but it also works if you have WinE under Linux.

I mean technical specifications.. I'm web-designer, so I know only about web stuff, EX: to run certain CMS you need DBMS (like MySQL) and PHP (certain version, like 7.1).

What is technical specifications to run PWMangband? Which hosting would work?

pwmangband.seymourfamily.com has been updated with the latest version. The server seems to be playable even from EU, so feel free to try it.
