The mutation on my beastman runeknight is "you occasionaly stumble into other shadows" wth does that do exactly?

"Other shadows" is an ooooold holdover from ZAngband, which takes inspiration from, among other works, Zelazny's Chronicles of Amber. That series has parallel universes that are called "shadows" of the "true" universe (which is Amber). It's also where the Amberites come from -- Fiona and Benedict and Corwin and so on. And of course, the Amberite death curse.Comment
