poschengband all unexplored tiles are grey X's now cant change it back

All tiles iv not seen are grey x's now like the whole screen even on the map any idea how to change it back? its only on 1 character too I musta pressed wrong thing need help (also outdoors seem fine just in caves)

That's the trap detection indicator in PCH. It shows up as soon as you use any kind of trap detection spell to show the area that you haven't detected. I've never liked it.

Hit = to go into options and turn off the show trap radius one

thank you I actually figured it out at 5 am or so it was driving me nuts I scribbled down the option setting from other character I must have toggled it accident at some point

In my earliest heydays with PosChengband, I thought the 'x' meant the game was badly broken. But, that was not the case. The 'x' was an actual intended feature that you can turn off by yourself
