Hi! I was wondering, if lets say in angband dungeon 12 it says that the ghost 'Q' is guarding, then i leave the level with recall and recall back, will 'Q' still be guarding the level?

nope, leaving fails the quest. Note the guardian bosses at the bottom level of other dungeons (e.g. stronghold, orc caves) are different. You can simply leave & come back.

The level will be unguarded if you leave, but you'll take a hit to your fame.

Q is one of the more annoying uniques if you're unprepared (i.e. no lasting invisibility detection). I remember running out of staff charges just a moment before he died (and I got a lucky hit in to finish the job). I think mine was on dl 6 though... but that was long ago.
