[Poschengband] How to update version and not lose progress?

I want to update from 5.0.0 to 5.0.3 but dont want to lose all the monster memory. What folders do I need to copy where to maintain continuity?

Just load the 5.0.0 savefile into 5.0.3 and hopefully it will proceed with updating. Make a backup copy of the savefile in case it falls apart.

That is because it changed from day to night. You already know where all the trees up top are because you saw them during the daytime, but the ones on the bottom are hidden in the darkness.
