Which do i swap around ? --- >
a) a Small Sword of Doriath (1d6) (+8,+10) [+3] (+4 to stealth) {@w0}
and now Brethil yielded up a
t) a Trident of Gondolin (1d7) (+14,+14) [4,+0] {@w0}
now im wondering, do the slays on the Gondolin (plus the regen, SI, FA) and the fact that it does 43 against Orcs/Trolls/Demons/Dragons
offset the 16 it does against other monsters ?
or the fact that its a 1d7 against the following
s) a Long Sword of Poisoning (2d5) (+10,+14)
this one does a 17 against other monsters , gives me rPois (which is only 10% but none of my other equipment has it)
the gondolin also appears to only resist destruction by acid/fire.
scary. remember an earlier game when my Spiked Club of Slays went *crisp* after a Mature Fire Dragon.
im thinking of leaving the Longsword at home and carrying around the Trident as primary
(the Elvenkind shield gives me 33% fire resist and 42% fire resist and i also have a Amulet of rAcid and a Resistance Armor providing rAcid too)
swapping around the Doriath whilst travelling.

on returning home and IDing a longbow and shortbow i had there, i find its a
s) a Long Bow of Accuracy (x3) (+8,+10) - gives me 1.2 but only +12 ...
(does the x3 make up for the lack of +skill and +deadliness ?)
i also found the other was a
r) a Short Bow of Velocity (x2) (+12,+8)
(does the velocity make up for the +s which are still less than my current Shortbow ?)
b) a Short Bow of Accuracy (x2) (+18,+9) - gives me 1.2 shots and +22
so far i've been shooting with the above Shortbow.
