Just read Neil Gaiman's Neverwhere for the first time.
It would make an awesome *Band.
Not that I'm volunteering or anything. Just saying.

If you haven't read it, I heartily recommend Anansi Boys. I think it's still the only novel I've ever read end-to-end in a single day. (I still have no idea what it was that made it so gripping to me, but there it is.)
