If you can only afford one item, the shop dialogue should tell you how many items of that type you already have got (as is already the case when you can buy several items of the same kind).

• When you squelch a cursed item, it would be more convenient if the game offered to squelch all cursed items of the same kind rather than all unidentified items of the same kind.
• When you exploit a monster's weakness in melee, the message line could indicate this. Like "You freeze the baby red dragon badly." instead of just "You freeze the baby red dragon."
• The descriptions of barbarians and berserkers in the manual should include their respective pseudo-id capabilities.

It's a great idea! *any* *band should implement this
