Z+Angband v0.33 question.

I am playing a Chaos warrior, and I noticed that I have sorcery listed as a second school of magic. On one hand, I get the power bonus for spells that appear in both schools, and sorcery is listed on the 'known spells' screen. On the other hand, I did not see any messages telling me that I picked up a new school, and do not seem to be able to learn any sorcery spells from the books I see in the stores.

So my question is, and no spoilers please, is this a bug or a feature of the Chaos-warrior class? If the latter, I'll figure it out myself.

It's a bug. Chaos warriors are only supposed to have one school of magic.

I'm also playing a chaos warrior and I just got an "inven outside bounds!" error message that closes the game. I have two ampersands in my r and s inventory slots that are I believe nothing. It all started when I was on a quest and killed a bandit who dropped an ampersand labeled [nothing]. I think I tried to pick it up and didn't think I was successful but maybe I was. Is there any way to fix this?

Oy. I thought I had gotten rid of that one.

Can you destroy them? If not, try picking up more stuff so your inventory overflows?

I can't destroy them, and I tried to pick up stuff but it won't bump them out of the inventory. When they are in slot v and w, I can't pick up anything else.

I've been playing lots of games and this is the first time I've ever seen this (or any other) bug, so it seems very rare.
