Alas, I only know what I read at the library about this monster, which is why killing at least one would have been cool, or say 'instructive'.
When I look in the spoiler file, I see it has a rarety of 100, like golden angel and Tsuchinoko.
I must be darn dumb cause I found a figurine of one, but as it wasn't cursed, I put it to the museum... but didn't backup my save before
I think this is the only monster I never killed (before my above char, I I didn't know GCWADL or caaws... and never killed a babble, a ZSoC or THE ring.)
(This is one of the reasons why I spent so much time before fighting ZE boss : I wanted to have a clean recall about monsters... I missed it for so long !)
Oh, and about caaws, wtf ?? they have a 100d100 attack, but the few ones I melee'd didn't seem to do *serious* damages, even with that attack.

I often have questions for which I can't find any answer
e.g. :
I noticed recently than max mana seems to be related with my race.
Golem sorcerer ~500 mana; spectre Sorcerer ~800 mana. (both are lvl50 and maxed with Massive iron crown, using debug mode)
Does anyone know if it's a bug or a feature ??
