    Unangband - Dual Wield Help?

    Hey all,

I'm currently playing UnAngband 0.6.4 and for the life of me cannot figure out how to dual wield with my Rogue, who on creation, I selected dual wield for? I've tried to make sure weapons are of equal weight, made sure to unequip any shield I might have, etc. No luck. Is it not implemented yet or am I doing something horribly wrong.

Love the variant so far though.

    Thanks.

    From the help/spoiler file:
    Code:
The Dual-wield specialist is a savage and brutal warrior,
capable of using a weapon in each hand to confuse and injure
his opponents. When wielding two weapons at a time,
a Dual-wield specialist can use the 2nd weapon to provide
additional armour class and at higher levels, attack with it
in addition to their primary weapon.

Weapons that can be dual wielded include any weapon under 15 lbs,
as long as both weapons are identical types,

and any weapon under 20lb may be paired with a secondary throwing weapon.

    Dextrous Hand Sinister hand

(same weapons 15 lbs or lighter)

    Long Sword Long Sword
    Morningstar Morningstar

(a weapon heavier than 20 lb and a throwing one)

    Dagger Rapier
    Ball & Chain Spear
    Harpoon Glaive
No, I don't have a clue 'bout C, and I'm not starting my own variant.
    Never. Ever.

And also by that same token, this help file is out-of-date. Rapier and ball-and-chain are currently not "throwing weapons", at least. I'm not sure about the glaive. If you want to know if the weapon can be wielded in the off-hand with your main, look for "easily thrown" near the top of the weapon description in-game. Those weapons will get the dual-wielding bonus as a secondary.

But dagger, spear and harpoon are.
If you equip the other weapon first, the game will ask you if you want to put them into the quiver, then if you want to wield them off-handed.

Maybe the file needs some bugfixing
