Comes with new features that I wanted to have working in my Variant since long time ago: feeding on fresh corpses to avoid starvation and being able to lock doors (diff from spiking them up w/ a spike/sharp object) .
Several minor bugs have been addressed and lots of additions have been made to the Bestiary and the Inventory.
Thanks a lot to all the folks who enjoy this humble Variant! Very much appreciated.

Hello! Aw I'm afraid the squelch related code has remain the same as my ancestors'.
Next release (likely later on) will see two brand new actions: eating fresh corpses and locking doors (different from jamming them up).
But gotta say I have not even thought of squelch, as in all my years of playing variants/vanilla have never used it. Hope this does not deter you from enjoying the Variant, many, many things have been added for the sakes of roleplaying, variety and immersion!Leave a comment:

Small patch released that comes with some necessary bug fixes, included a bug related to the targeting system that was crashing down the game of some Win11 users.

Hello there! Announcing a new update to this humble Z Variant : the II-8 release.
This time I have compressed the game under 7z, since some users have been reporting that Win11 does weird stuff when unpacking the zip. :/ So 7z it is, no problem.
This ZMAngband II-8 update takes the game another step forward, both in therms of gameplay and replayability. The no-wilderness mode, Zangnilla mode, has gotten a significant boost. Vanilla town has been recoded to be a jump into shadow every time you start a game, with its own name, and from now on, featuring 11 buildings/ stores for way more variety of stuff to equip your adventurer!

I am quite happy with this I.29 patch, visuals and code adjustments on Combat/Magic are neat. The color palette plus this new Frankenfont are working good together.

Hello there and Happy Holidays everyone :]
Last update was having a couple users reporting a weird bug that caused crash on start. Have been busy these last 2 days working on the code, locating a memory allocating error that went completely under the radar.
