    [Un] Where to go next ?

    I fought my way (mostly) through the tower of Weathertop.

    I think I could move on now, but I am absolutly at a loss where to go next?!
    Likewise, I am absolutly UNsure which weapons to use, or for which equipment I should look out in general?!

    Btw., playing this char is quite playing an assassin .. sneak up to the monster, hack it to pieces Traps, on the other hand, I never found really worthwhile - but maybe that's just because I haven't loaded them with the right things? Luring monsters on monster traps is quite fun, though

    edit: I nearly forgot - I would really like to keep that mithril armor, to put some runes on it and enchant it up to maximum. IIRC, max enchantment depends on the base values of the item, doesn't it? Therefore I should be able to make it something like [28,+28] shouldn't I? I wonder, though, how enchanting weapons is supposed to work? I didn't have much trouble to enchant that Scimitar up to [+10,14] from +8 or something ... is this working as it should?

    Rivendell is the next hub. You'll have plenty of choices of dungeon to aim for from that point onwards. Try the first level or so of each of the alternatives (except Moria) and see what monster types you prefer fighting and the item drops for each type.

    Traps could use plenty of balancing. Let me know your thoughts.

    Correct on your assumption about Mithril. The Scimitar has a base dice of 3d5 (=15 damage) which is why +14 damage is fine.
