    Entroband anybody?!?

    I am in search of entroband-1.7.1-src.zip and cannot find it nowhere :-(

    If anybody could provide me with this file (and potentially also entroband-1.7.1.zip), i would set up a mirror to continue offering it!

    Thanx!

        It would be great if admins (pac?!?) could change the download URL on http://angband.oook.cz/variants.php?variant=entroband to this:

        This mirror will stay some time

                  Sorry for digging up an old thread but I just had to say this : TJA YOU ARE AWESOME, THANKS!

                  I was suffering Entro withdrawal. Now I can be happy again.

                    Tarball?

                    Does anyone have a tarball of entroband 1.7.1 (if one even existsed at some point)? Or is there someone who can lend a hand in helping me install on Linux using entroband-1.7.1-src.zip?

                    Thanks.

                      On linux, I would see about trying:

                      ./configure
                      ./make
                      ./make install

                      Past that I'm mostly useless. Also consider reading the makefile.

                        Yeah, I go that far, but no luck. Thanks for the suggestion tho.

                          I think you have to run the "bootstrap" script first, to create the configure scripts.

                          Or you could probably get it to work just using makefile.std in the src directory.

                            If I recall correctly, I had to run the bootstrap script first, and then configure:
                            $ sh bootstrap
                            $ ./configure --disable-japanese
                            $ gmake
                            $ gmake install
                            If you still receive errors, I will attempt to help as best I can. Please post the errors along with your distro and version.

                              Thanks for the tips. I'm running it in Wine right now, but would love to play it without the Wine crutch. Loving this variant. Very fun.
