This is my first time getting to the mid-game with a necromancer, and I'd like to know what the spell 'The Overmind' is supposed to do.
When I browse the spell it says something like it 'attempts to smash the mind of all monsters in line of sight, but is very risky'
When I cast it, it says 'mind-twisting force emanates from your brain' or something, but nothing actually happens; not even 'the monster resists' or whatever. I have tried it against both weak and powerful monsters with the same (lack of) results.
Is this a bug or is it just very unlikely to actually work?
