[Z+] "worthless" psuedo ID?

Hi, All.

I've just started playing Z+ recently. I played Z for a while five years ago or so but never did very well. I have one question right now, after killing off my longest lived warrior by forgetting that I had Teleport other wands.

Should I be destroying all "worthless" items or identifying them? I was in the 40ish levels and had plenty of gold (I love the rod of alchemy!) so I was destroying everything that psuedo'ed as bad. What is the difference between "dubious," "worthless," and "cursed?" It seems from reading the forums that there may be some artifacts that are worth using even if they are cursed. If so, should I identify every "worthless" item found? On a similar note, is the "special" psuedo id gone? I found a few artifacts, but I don't remember any of them id'ing as "special."

IIRC,
cursed: normal item with no bonuses or penalties, but sticks to you
dubious: cursed magic item with plusses to hit/dam or armor
bad: cursed magic item with minusses to hit/dam or armor
???: cursed good ego item (I can't remember this one for the life of me, it's something like "questionable")
worthless: bad ego item that sticks to you, e.g. X of the Morgul, or X of Vulnerability. Toss all these
terrible: cursed artifact, some are good some are bad

I think un-cursed artifacts are still "special", not sure what was going on with the psuedo id there

worthless items are garbage with the sometimes exception of Bows of the Nazgul. (They give See Invisible, but have minor experience drain. You can eventually enchant them up to as good as an ordinary bow.)
